Dawlish Town Council working with lots of organisations and volunteers is putting on four days of events on the Lawn in Dawlish to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.

Listed below are the times of the activities which are subject to change and weather conditions.

A limited edition souvenir programme is being produced with details of events around the parish along with a souvenir postcard - look out for this in late May.

Dawlish Community Transport will be selling refreshments in the marquee during the day.

There will be heritage vehicles on the Lawn in Dawlish and on the Den in Teignmouth between 10am to 4pm.
Between 10.30am and 3.30pm from near Pier in Teignmouth and A379/Permount Place bus stop (outside the old Natwest bank in Dawlish) a free heritage bus will run between the two sites with gap in service 1pm to 1.30pm. (Donations to Mayoral charities).

10am Heritage vehicles on the Lawn till 4pm

We’d love to see you in 1950s costumes if you can dress up! Prizes for best dressed cyclists!

12.45pm to 1.15pm Coronation film clips on the giant screen

1.30pm to 2.10pm Liberty Sisters near bandstand

2pm to 3.30pm Cyclists ride to Powderham

6pm Coronation film clips on the giant screen

7pm Encanto on the giant screen.

Flowers and Memories of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Year. St Mary’s Church, Cofton. 11am to 3pm Thursday to Saturday inclusive. Sunday 12 to 3pm
Refreshments available.

1st June to 4th June
St. Gregory’s Parish church will be open from Wednesday 1st June to Sat 4th June to celebrate the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth and also the life of the church over the 70 years with flowers and photographs. Open 10-4 Wed.-Fri; Sat 10-12, 2-4.

1st June to 10th September
70 Glorious Years of Her Majesty plus a tribute to Duke of Edinburgh Award winners. Wednesday to Friday 11am to 3pm Saturday 10am to 1pm
Adults £2 Children and concessions £1. Family ticket available. Dawlish Museum, Barton Terrace, Dawlish.

3pm Dawlish Against Plastic beach clean - meet at Boat Cove.

At Holcombe Bring and Share Lunch at the Village Hall between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
At the same time tea and cakes will be on offer at St George’s Church, Holcombe.
